Title Process at Expert Mortgage Assistance
EMA handles complete Title Process for Mortgage Lenders/Brokers. The process start right after the loan office provides the Title/Escrow contact for the loan file. We place an order with the Title company via Fax or email and get a confirmation of the same to ensure the order has been received and being processed. Title companies provide us with an expected date for getting the Title binder and we follow up with them in case we don’t receive the Title binder on expected date. Once the Title binder is received we review that for correctness and completeness including ICL, E&O, COT and Purchase Contract (in case of vesting). We request revisions if required and sign off on the Title once everything is in order. We send an email to the Processor and Loan Officer informing the Title condition has been signed off on.
